Why St. Thomas?
-What St. Thomas means to me
--Sam Kelly:
"The people are what I enjoy most at St. Thomas'. There is never an uncomfortable moment and I always feel welcome. Everyone is so faithful and willing to help, especially Father Jeff who will reach out to help you in any way. The youth minister, who is one of the best listeners I know, really understands teenage issues, and has one of the best senses of humor I know."
--Nancy Angerman:
St. Thomas is a visually attractive church of gothic and stone architecture and a beautiful sanctuary. Its parishioners are open and friendly and its rector young and energetic. In fine Anglican tradition we meet as one at the communion rail to receive the Lord's feast. "Passing of the peace" is an outpouring of love one to another. However, the main reason why St. Thomas has become my spiritual home/refuge is because God's word is preached and spiritual growth encouraged. As an active, vibrant church we are directed how to develop a personal relationship with Christ and given many avenues through various classes and bible studies to pursue this goal. Because of these opportunities I have become a more confident and joyful Christian. I add my encouragement and welcome to anyone considering a visit to St. Thomas.
